Is Shia LaBeouf's new lady, fashion stylist Karolyn Pho, the reason behind his retirement from the Blockbuster Transformers franchise? Miss Pho is in fact a worldly young woman – she's begun introducing Shia to life's greatest delicacies like fancy cheese and he's seemingly matured since meeting her.
He said about his new culinary open mindedness: "Pâté? A cheese plate? I can get down with some fig jelly and some cheese on a cracker... [Karolyn's] having me try different things," he told the Los Angeles Times.
Shia's also become reflective about his turbulent troublemaking past (he's been arrested for criminal trespassing, was handcuffed during a rowdy bar fight, and refused a breathalyzer exam after his 2008 car crash.)
The young star displayed some wise introspection about his brawl at the Mad Bull's Tavern in Sherman Oaks this past February: "My mother said it was below your dignity to engage in it. But there's something in a 24-year-old mind where...somebody approaches you and you're in the wrong thinking and you're drunk. I have no excuses. I'm not happy with it, but I don't think it's a calamity."
Karolyn's magic wand – whatever it may be – has done some maturity-inspiring wonders on Shia. Or maybe it's just true love!
